Sumba. Born to Be Wild
The little Africa of Indonesia, Sumba, where vast savannah stretches beneath an open sky and wild horses run freely. Said to be one of the last islands to emerge from the sea in Indonesia, perhaps Sumba was simply born to be wild. I ran into the grassland with the horses, letting the wind take over and feeling a kind of freedom that only the wild can give. Then come turquoise lagoons and crystal-clear waterfalls, made for wild swimming. If one word could describe Sumba for me, it would simply be wild.
