The Mahakam River, meaning "Greatest Love" in Sanskrit, flows majestically through East Kalimantan. As I travelled along this grand river, I was surrounded by a vibrant tapestry of life. Each bend revealed new scenes—bustling villages, diverse communities, breathtaking landscapes, pink dolphins, and a 180-degree rainbow. I loved it! From the 99 meter tower at the Islamic Center Samarinda Mosque, we could enjoy a spectacular view of the Mahakam River.
