Gunung Mulu National Park
Gunung Mulu National Park is celebrated for its extraordinary caves, with Deer Cave and Clearwater Cave standing out as my top picks. Deer Cave’s immense scale is breathtaking, and walking through it felt like stepping into a Batman film, it's easy to feel dwarfed by its vastness. Clearwater Cave is equally impressive but for a different reason. Its entrance features a lovely pond filled with cool, refreshing water from the cave, making it an inviting spot for a swim. I love it. Pinnacle is another highlight of the park, though reaching it requires a challenging 10 hour round trip hike. The stunning view, immortalized on the Malaysian RM100 banknote, is a rewarding sight for those who make the climb including me of course.
