Komodo National Park. A Kingdom of Nature
Sometimes what feels unfortunate becomes something else if we are willing to try again. My Komodo Island tour was once cancelled due to bad weather, but after Sulawesi, I chose to return just for this journey. And this time, the door opened.
Komodo National Park felt like a kingdom of nature, where I found myself playing like a little girl again, stepping quietly into the rare. Padar Island is a dream for hikers, with cliffs and ocean unfolding in every direction as you climb. At Pink Beach, crushed red coral paints the sand into soft shades of pink, making it one of the most romantic places to simply be. And on Komodo Island, meeting the Komodo dragons felt like watching a silent Godzilla scene except they were resting lazily in the shade, completely unbothered.
Standing there, I couldn’t help but wonder how did nature place so much beauty in one single place?
