1941-1941, 1942-1942, 1941-1942

The Auschwitz-Birkenau Memorial and Museum is one of the most important places I’ve visited in all my travels. It holds a significant role in human history. a powerful reminder of one of our darkest moments during World War II. Walking through the site, I was overwhelmed by a mix of emotions, both hatred and love. Here, I stood in a place where some lives lasted only a year or two, if not less. One sentence on the museum wall struck me deeply: “Those who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it.”

War doesn’t only exist on battlefields. it exists in our minds and our beliefs. Are we truly free? Can anyone truly be free? Someone once told me that freedom happens within limitations. But then, what are the limitations that live inside you?
