A Fairy Tale Walk Through Croatia’s Only National Park
Plitvice Lakes National Park is one of Croatia’s most iconic natural treasures, and to me, it feels like a fairy-tale land from above. With 16 lakes, countless waterfalls of varying sizes, and dense forest all around, it’s a magical place. This is my first time experiencing so many small, gentle waterfalls all at once. Unlike the roaring power of Iguazu Falls in Argentina, Plitvice offers a more surreal, delicate beauty, like nature whispering instead of shouting. Walking along the footbridges that weave through the lakes, I felt wrapped in peace and calm. It’s truly a place filled with good energy. The turquoise lakes, set under a clear blue sky, reveal every shade between green and blue. Once again, Mother Nature proves herself a masterful artist.
