Where History Breathes. Krakow Through My Eyes

Krakow is one of the largest medieval cities in Europe, with a history dating back to the 10th century. Beyond the famous Wawel Castle and the Old Town Square, I was especially drawn to St. Mary’s Basilica. Inside, I witnessed one of the most breathtaking combinations of blue and gold I’ve ever seen. Sitting in that space, I felt enveloped by history, art, and the echoes of ancient times. They still hold weekend services there, and I can only imagine how precious it must feel to attend one in such a stunning setting.

Krakow’s ceramic art is handmade, full of vibrant and unique colors. I never wanted to leave once I stepped into the shop. As an art lover, I couldn’t resist bringing some pieces home with me. Guess what did I buy?
