Bako National Park. WILD ZOO

Bako National Park stands out geographically because it's located on a unique peninsula. The boat ride to the park is soothing, enhanced by the bright colors and serene landscape of the river. I fondly refer to Bako as a "wild zoo" due to the high likelihood of encountering various animals. On my visit, I spotted silvered langurs, Bornean bearded pigs, snakes, and flying lemurs. For panoramic views, hike the Telok Pandan Besar and Telok Pandan Kecil trails to the cliff tops where you can enjoy breathtaking vistas of the tranquil, hidden bay below.
