Parque Torres de Paine in September
September brings the beautiful transition from winter to spring, and Parque Torres del Paine has just reopened after its winter closure. The trek to Mirador de los Torres doesn't require a guide, but will need crampons and trekking poles. With nearly 60% of the trail covered in snow, it can be quite chilly, but the breathtaking views make the journey worthwhile. Over the years, I’ve learned that even with an entry ticket into the natural world, a perfect view isn’t guaranteed, it requires luck, courage, and, most importantly, positive thinking. I would choose September again in a heartbeat.
