LAPAZ & VALLEY OF THE SOUL

I’ve heard La Paz described as a city that looks lost but ensures you’ll never feel lost yourself, and it’s an apt description. As one of the highest administrative capitals in the world, the city reveals its unique character from an aerial view. During our visit, we took the Mi Teleférico cable car, and I saw La Paz as a sprawling "desert" of houses. The people here show remarkable resilience, living and thriving together in this challenging environment under one shared sky.

The Valley of The Soul, not far from La Paz, evoked a sense of "Game of Thrones" for me, with its rock formations resembling mythical dragon glass. This valley is celebrated for its dramatic clusters of rocks that thrust skyward. As I stood there, surrounded by these towering structures, I felt a profound sense of smallness, which served as a natural antidote to ego.
