Living in the Dinosaur Era at Argentina
Since I was young, dinosaurs have always seemed like monstrous creatures chasing and devouring me. Before visiting Argentina, my only encounters with dinosaurs were through movies. However, Argentina boasts many archaeological fossil sites dedicated to these ancient giants, so I planned part of my itinerary around them. My journey began at Parque Nahuelito, a park at Bariloche featuring 30 life-size dinosaur replicas scattered throughout its grounds. I loved the park's surroundings, which create a surreal and perfect setting for discovering dinosaurs. Here, I played and learned like a child, exploring the different types of dinosaurs. I especially enjoyed seeing the Tyrannosaurus Rex, Triceratops, and Brachiosaurus, my favorites! Next, I visited Plaza Huincul and the Museo Carmen Funes, where I saw the largest and oldest dinosaur replica, constructed 90% based on fossil findings. For dinosaur structures made from real bones, I recommend visiting the Museo de La Plata, just an hour away from Buenos Aires.
